Happy New Year to all Looking forward to meeting new cachers and catching up with old friends at this event! Hopefully we can rally up the last 100 or so people with intent of joining us all

We now have over 430 people who have registered interest, including a number from far fling places in Europe, North America and the Middle East. Less than 70 to go now, in order to achive the magic 500 mark.

Both baby&Mrs gopher (2 The Rock NSW) and Team Ladava (2 Sundbury Vic) have booked accomodation for the event

Actually, regos have picked up , with close to 30 in Janualy already.
I guess people are plannin their year out and NZ MEGA is in the plan

We're now just 34 short of the magic 500 mark.

Groundspeak generally won't allow events to be posted any sooner than 6 months before they occur.
There is an exception for MEGA Events, however an event must qualify as a MEGA Event (500+ registered attendees, be a significant stand alone event, be assessed and approved by Groundspeak, etc) before this occurs.

We;ve had a fair bit of communication with Groundspeak so expect to get approval once we satisfy allof the MEGA requirements.
The only real hang up at the moment is that we only have 495 registered attendees (we need 500).
