Society Subscriptions 2012 now due

Postby rediguana » 18-10-2011 23:28

Hi all,

It is that time of year again, and the subscriptions are due for the 2012 year (1 OCT 2011 - 30 SEP 2012).

Memberships remain the same this year, at the always affordable price of $10 for an individual, and $16 for a family membership. We would prefer electronic payment by direct debit, however we also accept cheques.

Payment by Direct Debit (preferred)
Make sure to reference the transaction with your name and forum nickname if space permits. This will speed up our ability to process your membership. Please advise the Treasurer of your payment via link 4 (Advise the Treasurer) at this page: http://www.gps.org.nz/society/join

Payment by Cheque
Please make cheques payable to "New Zealand Recreational GPS Society Inc.",

Please send cheques to:
NZ Recreational GPS Society Treasurer
PO Box 29066
Christchurch

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Gavin Treadgold
Secretary/Treasurer

At this stage, running of the website (forums), and the Society owns a handful of GPS units that we make available for free for school holiday programs, scouts/guides and the like - to encourage more people to use GPS and introduce them to geocaching. Those units are getting near the end of their life, and we need to replace them soon with touchscreen units that are far easier for kids and adults to learn to use in a short timeframe (such as an event).

We have three of these events coming up later this week!
