The tale of the Easter Bunny - Easter Egg hunt event.
GC3E9HK
Good Friday 6th April - near Hamilton Gardens.
Planned for 11am, to allow for those travelling from afar, to join us, and then continue on their caching holiday.
Early enough for locals to join in, and then go on a caching trip too...

More details on the cache page (thanks Moneydork for past South Island events along a similar theme)

Spring has Sprung - or will at least be on its way by then. So pop down to Northwood and catch up with Coinpopper who will be visiting NZ at that time, and have a few drinks, or a meal, with some friendly faces.

ummmm.......
anyone notice there's a wee event on in Dunedin in a week's time.
Perhaps we should mention it as an upcoming event cache..... though you do have to pay for this one.... (fair enough, user pay, and this one's cheap for all those days!)
it's called ......

NZ Mega Event - Auckland 2013

Postby 10centcoin » 13-11-2012 22:47

The organisation and planning for a Geocaching Mega Event to be held in Auckland in 2013 on Labour Weekend (26-28th Oct 2013) is underway by a dedicated team of Auckland-based geocachers. Putting together an event worthy of following on from the success of the recent Mega Event in Dunedin will be a massive task but the team is excited by the opportunities.

With an appropriate amount of fanfare and drum rolls, the organising team team are proud to launch the Auckland Mega 2013 Website (http://www.nzmega.com). We are now accepting expressions of interest and further content will be uploaded over the coming weeks and months as more of the event programme is finalised.

I have a couple of events coming up in and around Invercargill on January 26. A CITO at 11am, and then a catchup later that night.

Why 2 events in the one day? I also recently released a 7-in-a-day Challenge cache

Bladesedge's Unabashed Banter Bash Event: http://coord.info/GC40WZZ
Sandy Point Clean Up CITO Event: http://coord.info/GC40WYY
Southern Seven in a Day Challenge: http://coord.info/GC409PP

Come forth to the South and cache!
